022: Chapter 2 ~ Now, Go to the City! ②
Settings
The city is filled with a normal amount of hustle and bustle. Allen was visiting about every five days at one point to buy daily necessities and ingredients. After those items, he’d visit the magic tool shop and bookstore. Allen was one of the few who regularly visited those places.
He never expected to be in the store he found himself in now.
“Look! Charlotte looks good in this too!” Erika
“Eh? Oh?” Charlotte
Erika hands more clothes to the confused Charlotte. Allen is watching over them from a few meters away. He feels awkward since he’s the only male customer in the store. Every other customer is a young woman, and they’re all fired up.
The interior is quite fancy, and women’s clothes are lined up all over the large store. On some shelves, shoes and accessories are lined up. It seems like they’re currently in one of the most popular boutiques in the city.
For Allen, who is a “shadow” character, this is an alien place.
“Welcome, do you need any assistance?” Attendant
“Oh, no thank you…” Allen
A young female clerk came over to check on Allen. He’s not able to leave the store, that would be tantamount to giving up this match to Erika.
So who will make Charlotte happier? Both Allen and Erika are doing their best in the battle.
Allen thinks back to when he was a kid and was introduced to the Crawford family at age nine. Erika was only five at the time, but she followed her new brother around and challenged him to various games. She challenged him to foot races, chess, magic, etc. Obviously Allen was able to easily win each time, but Erika continued to challenge him without becoming dispirited. Maybe this is how she wanted to get along with Allen?
“Hey!” Erika
“Huh?” Allen
Erika brought Allen back to the present situation.
“Don’t get scared. Look at Charlotte’s transformation.” Erika
“Huh…” Allen
Charlotte changed into a new outfit. She’s wearing a white blouse with plenty of frills with a fluffy floral skirt. She’s got a think scarf wrapped around her neck. It’s not as fancy as her original clothes, but this outfit is a delightful fit for her. There’s just one probem…
“Isn’t it… A bit short?” Allen
“Huh? This is pretty normal for a cute girl?” Erika
Erika seems to think this is normal, but the skirt is an extreme mini-skirt. Charlotte’s white thighs are exposed. They’re healthy and plump, since she’s been able to enjoy a reasonable amount of food and snacks at Allen’s home. Allen ceases any further comments, but Erika jumps over to explain the outfit.
“This is really super cute! The style is modern and there’s no mismatched items! It’s really super pretty!” Erika
“But, it’s embarrassing…” Charlotte squeezes out as she grabs the edges of the skirt.
Her eyebrows are lowered and her ears are bright red. It appears she’s never worn such a short skirt before. Her thighs rub together and are slightly pink.
“Uhh, huh?” Allen stammers before collapsing on the spot
“Hey? Allen!” Charlotte asks ash she rushes over anxiously.
“Oh, are you ok? Are you feeling sick…” Erika
“…I’m feeling better” Allen laughs.
“I just needed to calm my heart. You stopped it for a second.” Allen
“How do you survive if it’s that easy to stop it?” Erika
