020: Chapter 2 ~ An Intruder Who Brings a Storm ③

This is a day late, so there will be 5 chapters this week for this series.

Erika squeezes Charlotte’s hand and puts on a sympathetic face.

“You’ve had it so hard up til now! You’ve done your best, so let me know if there’s anything I can do! I’ll do my best to assist!” Erika

“Oh, thank you very much?” Charlotte asks confusedly.

“So… are you going to kick me out?” Erika

“Why?” Charlotte

“I’ll just say it myself… I’m super suspicious, aren’t I?” Erika

“But her story is too crazy to be fake, right?” Allen

“Ah, it’ll be fine. My brother is weird sometimes, but you can tell he’s not a bad guy. Those guys I can tell by their smell, they smell like a dog.” Erika

“If you’re going to praise someone, do it more clearly.” Allen

Allen is basically forced to stare at Erika by her comment. It had been about a year since they had been together. Erika is relieved that Allen is still the pure person she had known.

“So, what’s the real reason?” Allen

“To be honest, I’m supposed to bring you back…” Erika mentions before she hugs Charlotte tightly.

“But I don’t care about that anymore! I love Charlotte! I’ll teach you how to do so many things!” Erika

“Oh… so you’re going to stay?” Allen

“Obviously. Also, I’m planning on surveying this region while I’m here.” Erika

“What do you mean survey?” Charlotte asks while twisting her head.

“Ah, I look like this because I’m an magic tool engineer. Well, an apprentice magic tool engineer.” Erika responds back while smiling.

“Uhh, huh?” Charlotte

“Basically, I make magic tools that use monster bones and skins. That’s why I travel around the world to collect materials.” Erika

There are various types of magic tools in this world. Some that use magic to improve ordinary tools, others use monster materials to increase their power, others have instant effects. Erika gives a rough explanation, but it goes in one ear and out the other for Charlotte. It seems she has little knowledge of magic-related technology.

“Do you not know anything about magic?” Erika

“I only know that it can be convenient… I’m sorry, I didn’t study it much.” Charlotte lamented as she dropped her shoulders.

Allen recalls that she had said she was only doing bride training and household chores at her home, so she wouldn’t have been able to learn things about magic. Erika smiles in an attempt to cheer Charlotte up.

“On the contrary, it good since you can be taught properly now! Isn’t that right, old man?” Erika

“Old?” Allen

“Yeah, don’t worry about me.” Erika

Allen sighs and shakes his head, then he fixes his gaze on Erika.

“It’s fine to stay here. You think you are going to teach Charlotte how to be naught? Don’t make me laugh.” Allen

“Hmm, what do you mean?” Erika frowns

Allen lifts the edges of his mouth and laughs as if he’s invincible. He moves behind Charlotte and puts his hands on her shoulders.

“I’m the one who can teach Charlotte the pleasurable things! There’s no comparison between me and someone she just met!” Allen

“What?!” Erika

“Eh? Eh?” Charlotte

Charlotte is glancing between Allen and Erika, however Erika glares at Allen as if steam was rising from her head.

“Women need other women to teach them joy! Otherwise things are missed! I’m going to show Charlotte all my pleasure techniques!” Erika

“Are you sane? I’ve been thinking up ways to teach Charlotte much longer! You can’t beat me!” Allen

“What is happening?” Charlotte

Charlotte is stuck in the middle of the feuding two, as the brother and sister glare at each other. They’ve decided that neither will be dissuaded with words at this point.

“Then… let’s make it a game.” Allen

“Huh, nostalgic. Are you feeling competitive again after a while?” Erika

The two stick out their fists and fist bump.

“Which one will do better at teaching Charlotte pleasure… it’s a deal!” Allen

“Sounds great!” Erika

“Yes…” Charlotte
