024: Chapter 2 ~ Scars ①

Allen is sitting outside the fitting booth, listening to the sounds of moving cloth and the voices of the women on the other side of the curtains.

“So, it’s a clasp on the back of the neck? Can you lean back a bit?” Erika

“Does this work?” Charlotte

“Hmm… yep. That is difficult to fasten.” Erika

The two are engaged in an ordinary conversation.

Allen frowns, it sounded like Erika took in a sharp breath. She hasn’t said anything though. Maybe it was so Charlotte wouldn’t notice anything. Allen nods his head.

A second later, the curtains open energetically. Charlotte is standing there with a different appearance than before, Erika standing proudly by her side.

“Hey, brother, she’s super cute in this outfit too, right?” Erika

“Isn’t the exposure pretty high again?…” Allen

Charlotte was wearing a miniskirt earlier, but now she’s got short hot pants on. So he doesn’t get annoyed, he looks upward where he finds a mature top.

“My brother is a tough critic. If you don’t show off this much, you’ll look frumpy.” Erika

“Who is she fighting, the women of the world?” Allen

Allen would like to see clothes with less exposure and more defense.

Erika is only interested in showing off the clothes. From Allen’s point of view, Erika is trying to not talk about something. Allen is getting anxious about the possibilities.

“Anyway, take a good look at Charlotte, because this outfit has an amazing back section.” Erika

“Something about the back?” Allen

“Oh yeah! It’s super bold.” Erika responds as she winks mischievously.

Erika places her hand on shoulder and gestures for her to turn around.

“Well, so, Charlotte. Turn around so Allen can see the outfit.” Erika

“Uh… this outfit is embarrassing…” Charlotte

“No questions allowed! Turn around!” Erika

“Iyaa?!” Charlotte

Charlotte is spun around, then Allen didn’t know what to say.

“How about it? This outfit it normal when seen from the front, but the back is wide open! It’s super bold and not at the same time!” Erika

“Um… please give me clothes with more coverage…” Charlotte asks shyly.

Suddenly, she notices Allen and bows her head.

“Oh, yes, Mr. Allen? Is something wrong?” Charlotte

“Oh, no, nothing.” Allen replies with a smile.

Allen looks to the side so he can see past Erika into the fitting booth. He can look at Charlotte’s back using the mirror in the booth. Allen laughs at the anxious Charlotte.

“I don’t think you’re too exposed, instead… I think it suits you.” Allen

“Oh, is that so?” Charlotte

“Yes, you can be confident.” Allen says as he puts his hand on Charlotte’s shoulder.

Her back is nearly all exposed and the skin is exposed to the air. There’s plenty of bruises and scars engraved on it, it looks dyed red in places. The shapes must have been caused by a whip…
